AIWENbettas - About Me

Hello and welcome to my website - AIWENbettas!  My name is Charlene, but known more commonly as AiWen.

It all began in July of 2005 when my only fish at that time caught an "illness".  When I went online to try to find information about how to treat it, I happened to stumble on a message board/forum based on the fish-keeping hobby.  It was amazing how so many people were in this hobby of fish-keeping.  As a result, I joined them and started keeping more and more different species of fish as well as invertebrates.

I did, at one point, focus mainly on breeding and raising bettas.  However, it required too much time.  Plus, with school is in session, I just wasn't able to raise the betta fry instead adults.  Instead, I am now keeping and focusing on various species of hardier and more uncommon Cichlids, Catfish, Natives, Freshwater Shrimp, and Algae Eating Snails.

For my peers I offer discounts and give commission if you help me make sales.  Therefore, ask your friends!  You can make a buck or two easily!
